Here is an exciting expedition I did in March I think you’ll enjoy! 😁🌲🌲🌲
It is a bit of a different scenery from what I normally deliver and now catching up with my stories of "Happy Trails" to you! :)
My hike this time led me to Smith Rock State Park, about 30 mins from home! A stunning, beautiful day! (you would never guess we were in for a few inches of snow later!)😁❄️
I chose to hike the 'moderate' Misery Ridge and River Trail, as by popular votes had the best views, and boy it did not disappoint!
Breathtaking, exciting, euphoric, captivating, emotional were just a pinch of the overwhelming feelings experienced on this trail! (as I feel on most of my adventures I suppose) haha! But the views on this one completely knocked my socks off!
I was so thrilled, and felt extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to be a part of this, a slice of nature’s phenomenal wonder! 💛 The Towering Monkey face monument was a definite 'show stopper!'
Majestic mountains that can be very intimidating, except for the brave souls who live for the adventures of Rock climbing! Much admiration and respect watching them go for it!😱😮😬
It was a very rewarding and triumphant hike, full of everything you could ever desire in the life of nature lover...🌲🌲🌲
As I was walking out the Park, on the last leg of my hike reflecting on my adventures of today, about 5 hrs or so, the snow began to fall ever so lightly. I gently patted my trusty camera while falling deep in thought for a moment on this thing called life. I could not help but smile and think to myself, despite the viral related chaos affecting all of us in these recent times, I feel like the luckiest, most contented girl in the whole wide world right now... It certainly felt like I was, and I do feel like I am...! 😊❄️🌲❄️🌲❄️🌲
(sorry about that sentimental drift. I was in a moment..😁)
It is so heartwarming and exciting to share my adventures with you and to “take you along with me!”😊💛🌲🌲🌲
You can view a few more fantastic photos from my hike on this site.
May you find creative and exciting ways to enjoy all the things you love to do during these challenging times!
Be safe and stay healthy out there! 💛🌲🌲🌲 Until our next adventure... coming real soon! 😁... Take good care for now..💛
